IC is Individual Contributor. Identifies the role - non SWE - (there’s a number associated with it that identifies the level - so IC4, IC5, etc). E’s are engineering (Tbh I don’t know what the L stands for but I know a former SM who’s there that’s one so I’ll ask and M designates manager I think). I’m more familiar with the IC and E than the other two.

My offer had a choice of 4 different offices, 2 of which were in CA (you designate your office when you sign the offer). Sign on bonus was 25k and FB doesn’t do options they do RSUs (basically a stock option with a strike price of $0) that has a 4 year vesting period. How much RSUs you get is based on the role

I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.

Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.
