They are guidelines. Not law. I disagree with getting the vaccine and wearing masks
Which guidelines differ and what's changed?
are you talking about the high quality mask to protect against respiratory viruses in general? that's not a change in the Covid-19 guidance.
the CA department of health website still aligns with CDC on Covid-19 guidance.
The isolation guidelines are different , I posted the information below.

Are you vaccinated?
Here’s the news report yesterday https://www.cbsnews.com/sacramento/news/ca-department-of-public-health-relaxes-covid-guidelines/
I’m sorry to hear that CA is so far behind, but not surprised. I worked in home healthcare full time throughout the entire pandemic. No shut downs, no time off, homemade masks etc. I can honestly say I know of 2 of my patients who contracted Covid and passed. Both patients were severely compromised. I can recall dozens who passed during that period from various illnesses. Some hunkered down in their homes scared to leave or accept visits from loved ones. The population I serve is 80% Medicare age, the at risk group! The standard among the majority of my coworkers is don’t test and don’t tell. Move on. They decimated the entire healthcare field so certain people could make money. Sad
One reply to that. Long COVID.
