About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

It sounds nice on paper, but this right to disconnect hinges on the refusal not being deemed "unreasonable." That leaves a lot of room for employees to be pressured into complying, especially in high-demand industries.
Even if this were passed, they would find someone who would be more flexible especially in IB. And somehow justify replacing you.
Those laws are good and they make sense for a lot of companies and positions. You hear stories of people being hassled at all hours when they work in a business that doesn't really require urgency. But in some fields, like ours, employers will assert that contacting people at any time is reasonable. And in a competitive business such as ours, if you don't agree with that, you'll be gone and someone else will be happy to take your job.
With our government being on the extreme gridlock, I doubt this thing will get passed.
