I'm working from home, luckily enough. My setup is a pretty simple desk with a laptop, nothing particularly complicated. I've thought about getting a standing desk, but haven't committed (partly because I'm always wondering how long WFH will actually last). I do make it a point to get up and move around at least once per hour, just for health and circulation reasons.
I work from home. iMac, standing desk, desk chair, lamp, note pad, and that's about it. I usually work in 45 minute blocks and then take 15 to either do chores or take a quick walk to give myself a reprieve from the computer screen.
It's a small 40 inch by four foot corner of my bedroom.
I work from home, seated at my desk with my laptop. My setup is simple—just a quiet space with good lighting. I have a comfortable chair, a second monitor for multitasking, and a few personal touches like plants to keep the environment cozy and focused.
I’m on my feet basically all day, moving around the facility. We do have a fairly open space if you need to do some computer work though. I appreciate WFH can be great, but I love getting out and about. Also I think it helps keep the lines between work and home.
Chief
I work in a shared office with others. I was recently moved to a smaller office and it's made using my elevated desk much harder. It feels like I'm more in the way of others when I stand versus sit. I try to be efficient with my space so all frequently used items are easily within reach. I hate clutter so everything has its designated spot. I use a lot of sticky notes, but the next thing on my purchase list for the office is one of those smaller dry erase boards. I dislike the visuals of numerous sticky notes versus being able to write and erase as I no longer need that information.
