I've been a nurse for over 18 years. While I like all aspects of nursing, I would definitely say my favorite is probably management. I like helping other nurses do their best work.

Awesome !!

I have been a nurse for about five years now. Started out in the ER and now I work on a psychiatric unit. Not going to lie, I love the chaos of working on a psych unit. Every day is different.

Hi all

I am getting mails to report to office.
My base location does not have a hot seat.

Should this not be the focus from HR side to get a seat allocated rather than pushing employees to report to a random office that have a seat.?

And On top of that we have to take care of our own commute even when we are in shifts.

Why is this unprofessional and unethical behaviour?
Why is an employee responsible for everything which the HR and PMO is supposed to do??

Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??
