Gatorade. I was always dehydrated
Peppermint oil, 2 extra strength tylenol, and caffeine. Hang in there!
I have suffered from migraines since elementary school, during pregnancy my OBGYN prescribed me fioricet for mine.
Same — fioricet has worked better than excedrin for me! I’m so terrified of getting a migraine during labor :(
I continued taking sumatriptan during pregnancy (had been prescribed it for a decade before then). It’s category C and my doctor agreed the benefits outweighed the risks for me.
Strange! I used to take that but my doctor made me stop and prescribed fioricet instead.
I had horrible headaches throughout my recent pregnancy. Light aromatherapy, heated neck wrap, facial massage (quite a few different techniques out there). Be sure to make sure you are not exhibiting preeclampsia symptoms along with the headaches—that was ultimately my issue. Not a fun to spend your final weeks pregnant!
Warm bath, cold washcloth on forehead, can of full-sugar Coke.
Try Tylenol and Benadryl- it worked for me
I’m in my 3rd trimester and have been having a headache for more than 24 hours. Usually I use Excedrin and it does wonders. Because the only headache pill that’s pregnancy friendly is Tylenol, I’ve been taking that since my headache started yesterday...but it’s not strong enough. The headache just gets worst and feels like a migraine now. Is it ever going away?
Any tips? Thank you!
Agree with Digitas 1. I did the same.
