As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

I would like to do a nice setup where we designate specific areas as sensory-friendly spaces. It would be nice to test it out as something we can add to the company permanently.
This is the first I'm hearing about it, so we're probably not doing anything. At least not that I know of. It would be nice if we did though, because there's very little knowledge about Neurodiversity in my workplace.
Nothing special for this, or most other "National This-N-That Weeks." Our emphasis on DEI is to make sure everyone is treated equally, nobody is singled out because of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc. I find it kind of demeaning and patronizing to pat someone on the head as iif to say, "See, it's okay that your different." I think that kind of singles someone out based on their differences. I like to think of us as a great big multi-colored, multi-shaped quilt working together to do what we're supposed to do.
We are having a few organizations come in throughout the week to have demonstrations and workshops. Each organization will educate the company on the importance of corporate settings for neurodivergent individuals and how to make the space more comfortable for neurodivergent individuals.
We've never heard of that before so we don't really have anything planned but a good idea would be to have a Lunch & Learn session. Invite guest speakers with different neurotypes to share their stories and expertise. Topics could range from managing ADHD in the workplace to the power of neurodiversity in innovation.
I didn't even know there was a "Neurodiversity Week" in March. That shows you that my University couldn't care less about neurodiversity.
