Never seen title that at Slalom. Generally Principal = Manager/EM, Senior Principal = Senior Manager, and Director = Partner. Salary differs by market
Cool, makes sense. It could mean anything in that case. What's your current role at Slalom currently? How do you like your work? TC, WLB, Bonus etc., you know the good stuff lol?
I would bet Principal or above level but we don’t determine exact level until we interview the person and determine what scope of authority they can handle.
I’m a Director in a non-client facing job so my experience will be slightly different. For P+ on the consulting side, this is highly dependent on the location. Eg, in NYC, TC at the Principal level is around 200. WLB ebbs and flows and depends on how involved you are in people leadership and/or sales.
For me personally, I work a lot but I also love what I do. And I have a lot of freedom to take the time off that I want/need. I work with wonderful people and I make decent money 😊.
Principal is the minimum level considered “leadership” whereas SD/MD is the minimum level to have an equity position as a result of level/entry point to the company
Maybe read what I said again?
I didn’t say it was a minimum requirement. I said that it was the lowest level to be invited solely based on level.
Everyone else has to be invited by a GM based on performance, contributions, tenure, etc
