What is fair compensation for a SM1 with 6YOE as a people manager?

I was just promoted from M1 to SM1 during the year end cycle. I’m curious what to expect and am hopeful that my promotion doesn’t wash out my merit increase.

I’m currently at 135+20% with one year of advisory experience. I’m hopeful bonus is closer to 30-40% this year given my YE performance review.

I’m at an advisory firm with 500-1000 employees and located in a HCOL city.

What’s a good LA or NY business litigation firm and salary to expect? I got an offer from TCS of 8.13LPA for 4 yoe in automotive domain and accepted that offer. but my salary was revised from 6.2 to 7.74 LPA in appraisal at my current company, now if I compare it with tcs it is I am getting less than 10% raise in tcs . How should I approach to HR in tcs regarding this issue.

This job is a lot better if you don't care about the bonus and hours requirement. I can pretty easily bill 1700 hours annually and my firm so far hasn't cared in the slightest. Worrying about hitting 2000 hours for the bonus used stress me out so much, and I just don't think it's worth it. Base salaries are ridiculous and way more than enough to finance my lifestyle.
