What is one perk that your company offers that candidates usually are surprised about and they see as a big up? Maybe it is something overlooked. I think remote work is a obvious one. I'm not sure about learning salary, I see it as a huge distraction as people tend to think more about how to spend it before it expires in weird ways as they don't know what to do with it.

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
