I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?

I have requested my HR for a revised joining date by 1 week at PwC as my last working day at my current company and PwC was colliding.
The HR assured me of an addendum letter but so far after 2 weeks I haven't received anything as such.

Is there anyone who has also extended his/her joining in PwC ? If yes pls reply
