OP you are saying transformation programs but Can I assume large system modernizations. If you have 15 years of experience and want to come into B4, you won’t just be delivering. They’ll expect you to sell. That being said, 15yr put u around SM and maybe partner so I would say the following: KPMG - Director/MD - $180-200 Deloitte - SM - 180-220 EY - not sure here PwC - not sure they do large transformation programs

Most informative answer so far; thanks Protiviti. Yes you are right on both about system modernization and sales.

like

Well, you need 6 months of experience

That’s high even for tier 1 city like NY I think. Any fishes with real numbers ?

Depends on what level you come in at, and whether you come into the core delivery workforce or the tech or infrastructure consulting workforce or the tech strategy group

400-600k base

It depends on which position you accept.. for eg if you accept SA you will make 130k max

This is consulting and delivery of transformation programs. Designated at SM4, principal level.

You’re welcome OP. Best of luck to you. I know some who have bounced from Cap to B4 and been unhappy because they suddenly have to deal with tons of politics, but the pay is more.

I've been working for a regional public accounting firm since last Summer. It's a small office and I don't really fit in. The accounting software(s) is also ancient and slow here(circa 2003). I quickly applied for a position at a Big 4 and surprisingly was quickly offered a job. The training here has been haphazard and even managers barely know how to use the software. My main concern is the awkwardness from leaving after such a short time but the commute is an hour shorter to the big 4 firm.
