What is the first year TC of a Big 4 London partner in the UK? I’ve read that the average salary is c. 700k but surely that’s what equity partners make after 7 years of becoming a partner. Curious what level they start at

I’m an in-house lawyer with two years of post JD experience. I’ve graduated from a top Canadian school (if that matters). My work is focused on regulations within the capital markets. I’m considering management consulting. I’d like to know what salary range I should aim for at Deloitte, PWC, etc at their NY offices. I appreciate any insight you can give me.

Want to get a sense check. Typical English firm salaries in London are about 70% Cravath (unless you're at one of the US firms that benchmarks to Cravath scale offices). 2PQE is around 165k USD + 30k bonus assuming 1800 billables. So comparing at a firm where you roughly bill 1900-2000 a year, you lose out, but if you bill 2200+, that's comparable?

Thinking aloud here - if you can find that 2000-billing firm, no sense staying in that payscale unless you have a shot at equity?

Pros: Good work culture, Varied Type of Projects, Exposure to US markets
Cons: Kind of back end work sometimes

EY-Parthenon:
Pros: India Market, Strong Clients in India (both corporates and start-ups), Front End
Cons: Heard culture isn't great, Not that much variety in projects

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

Just got a job offer with CVS. To say the least I’m super excited to work for an Fortune 5 company. However, the job offer 1k less than my current company, but I thought this will be boost my growth and experience. Was my choices a smart move? Has anyone took a job that the pay was less than your current company ? Also, any insight with CVS and how I can advance my career there will be greatly appreciate.

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. Hello, I have a final panel interview coming up for a Strategic Product Consultant role at Procore (Construction SaaS). It’ll be 3 separate interviews, 30 minute each with a Team Lead, a Senior Consultant, and a Customer Success Manager.

I’ve already completed 2 interviews; 1 screening interview with a recruiter and 1 with a hiring manager.
