Hi all! I’m new! I started the year off planning to save for a home for myself, then rates skyrocketed. So we’re holding off. Fast forward to the final quarter of the year and we were presented with the idea of a residential assisted living facility. The problem there is we’d still need to acquire property in order to run one. The only difference is the RAL would be a business and is already registered as such. Does anyone have any experience here?

Currently making $75k, which is very low compared to my counterparts. However, in February I’m supposed to get a salary adjustment with my yearly review. I got a job offer for $120k-150k which I turned down cuz I want to stay at Adobe.

How/when do I use this to leverage a good salary adjustment in Feb?

Is moving to a HCOL city a bad move financially? If my fiancé and I are making $70k+ in our LCOC market we’d expect an increase in salary to move. Does it even out over time? Is buying property in a HCOL city better than in a LCOL city?

How terrible would it be to continue pursuing other job opportunities even after you already accepted an offer? I applied to three different places around the same time but one was able to throw out an offer before the other two would even enter into second interviews. I'm new to marketing and I am not formally educated in it. I have just been learning through experience with the business. I'm supposed to put together a Market report for our sales team to refer to but I have been stuck on what I even include. I have an expensive subscription to a reporting database and I am supposed to translate these technical reports into 20-30 slides.
