Is it common for average performers to climb the corp ladder by jumping firms every 3-4 years with a promotion?

Anyone out there quit their job to chase a dream like becoming an animator or podcaster? It’s always been a dream of mine but stayed in consulting for constant promotion. Feel a bit trapped of the “make more money” chase but have zero time for hobbies that make me whole.

Finally decided to leave Accenture, but im staying in the Workday world. I got offers from KPMG, PWC, and Capgemini this week. Can anyone give some honest opinions and/or experiences with each of them? Anything to add regarding their overall brand appeal, practice size/structure, potential for growth, etc.
I know Accenture and Deloitte are “the best” but I’m just trying to get paid and these other 3 all offered me what is essentially a 30% raise. 🤑

I feel as though I have enough experience to land a role well into the 80-100K salary base. What are some certifications or jobs without certificates that I could apply for that will get me where I want to be? Looking for resources for the market value of a CSM with one year of experience and any tips to negotiate? Definitely feeling defeated.
