Does anyone know of recruiting firms with a focus on Anti-money laundering? I’m foreign educated and newly admitted NY attorney with CAMS certification but living in Miami lol. I’m here, because my husband practices in SoFlo. Any recommendations? I don’t have any experience but have CAMS.
People who have transferred from Big 4 into IB, was it worth it? Has it met your expectations thus far? Very interested to learn more.

Don’t MBA programs most want the people who don’t need/want to go to business school (Private equity associates already making tons, successful startup founders, etc)? Seems like they don’t really want anyone who actually needs business school for their career.
EY Virtual MBA... Huh... Didn't see that coming. Guess they'll no longer be give scholarships
Deloitte pushing start dates from August to January. Graduating MBA with 6 figure debt and a ton of additional financial obligation. I’m devastated. I know I should be grateful but damn it’s hard.
Is the AWS cloud practitioner cert meaningful to get or is it just another basic cert that’s useless?
Considering obtaining a CFE certification. Can anyone share their experience vs experience obtaining CPA? I’m already a CPA. I just want a comparison of study time requirement and difficulty of exam.
Is FRM or CFA a better certification?
I am looking for some advice or opinions to apply for consulting jobs right now. I currently work at a mid-sized/regional firm, but plan move to a different city later this year. I have ~4 yr xp working on system implementations, IT policies/controls, and BPO, but my undergrad GPA wasn't the best (I did become a CPA and CISA though). Should I try to apply to big 3/big 4? Stay mid-sized? Get an MBA or Masters? Move and pray? Thanks in advanced for any comments!
Any advice in starting the search for an exit opp? Or if you know if any good opportunities in nyc/remote? Consulting is burning me at both ends of the wick and I need to be somewhere I can sustainably contribute, learn and grow. It’s hard to search when you’re working till 1am. A bit about myself: -3 yoe, mainly tech pm & scm work via consulting -degree in SCM and info sys, cert. scrum master -environment/culture is very important to me, good people, reasonable hours, etc.
What is a typical offer for an external hire at Consultant Level? No MBA, HCOL (NYC) and 3 YOE
Would anyone be willing to share a successful M7 MBA resume from a strategy consulting background for review? I am hearing a lot of ad. Consultants say I can’t use my standard resume but struggling a bit to identify which aspects of “consulting” to leave out. Most of my bullets are leadership and action/result oriented, so not really getting why it must change. Really appreciate the support
I am interested in getting my SHRM-CP certification this year and I was wondering which study methods and materials worked best for those of you who passed the exam. Also, what are your roles in HR?!
23 and looking to apply to MBA in ~3 years. What do I need to do to better my chances for an M7? Context: Mid-level undergrad with 3.79 GPA, top of class performer at IBM, have Negotiation Mastery and Disruptive Strategy certifications from HBS, not sure what to work on next.
Hey fam. Appreciate your inputs on this: I used to be a software developer and currently work as a tech risk consultant (CISA, CRISC certified). Have completed a couple of cyber courses but do not have prior cyber experience. Most cyber sec job postings require prior experience in cloud, aws, devops etc. Applied to a couple of roles but no avail. A) Can I start a career in cyber security without prior experience? B) Will CISSP or relevant cyber certifications help?
For those with an HSA, what docs do you keep for your current medical expenses so that you can cash them out later? Is it the receipt? Is it the bill? What is the best way to store those to keep them organized so you have them in the future?
Is it possible to land a PM job at FAANG (excluding Amazon) without prior PM or technical background?
What is better to stay in my current organization who is paying and work life balance but still no plan for Hana in next 5 years or join another company that may give me chance to work on Hana. I am having 10+ years of experience in SAP mm. My interest is to go in management but no opportunity in my current organization as they follow flat structure. So, not sure if I do some certification in management and then look for change in manager profile or go for Hana now and then go to managerial line
Can anyone give me a referral to Google? My friend that worked there recently left the company. I’m interested in applying to a Biz S&O associate role, happy to chat and share more about my background and why it’s a good fit! Thank you!! Google

Have an opportunity to be a loaned staff for a company I find really interesting for 2 years. Should I be cautious of this? Seems like a good opportunity but I’d likely miss out on the typical career progression of a big 4 firm
401k or Roth IRA? Should I be prioritizing the Roth IRA first when I'm younger? Even mix?

Anyone have experience with bariatric surgery, good or bad? I’m 6’0, currently 270lb (normal range pre-Covid was 220-250lbs) female recently diagnosed with Graves Disease (thyroid disorder) that has me swinging hormonally all the time affecting my mood and emotional coping skills, metabolic hunger signals, energy levels etc. I’m interested in a consultation and feeling bariatric surgery may a tool to provide some “bumpers” on my weight situation. Anyone know compensation for an alt track employment counsel position at Seyfarth? This position would be remote and flexible re:hours. Sounds really nice to bill less but also would love to know what kind of pay cut this would entail.
Big 4 to tech startup AMA!
I’m leaving a Manager role to take a Director one. They are finalizing the formal offer letter now. I want to leave my current team on good terms, not drop the ball on projects I’m leaving. I’d also like (need) at least a week to refresh and reset and get organized before starting the new director role. I’ve been negotiating terms with the new place since September 3. We agreed on compensation yesterday. Is asking for a Nov 1 start date pressing my luck/being a jerk or totally reasonable?
McKinsey recruiter reached out to me with a potential open position, would be a lateral move, same city. I told them I’d think about it. Am I complete fool to turn it down?
I lead a very small team. One of my employees was recently upset that a teammate was promoted, despite them being here longer. They are interested to get promoted themselves. This person's review is coming up and I really don't want to promote them. I don't think they are there yet, despite tenure. Someone could argue they are, though, suppose. If I don't promote in this round, they'll likely quit. I'm so torn on this. Would you stick to growth markers or promote for the sake of culture?
How do I have the conversation with a Partner about writing a letter of rec for a PhD program? Will I put myself a risk of being laid off if I express interest in continuing my education?
