Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

It can't possibly be this low
Yes, I also felt that it is on a lower side. This is the range in Deloitte USI. Don’t know about the recent market corrections. But I have a perception that Accenture might be paying higher
Accenture typically pays 45-50 fixed for tier 1 colleges at manager level. Additionally, bonus is in 20-30% range
No reason to cut salaries for Non tier 1 managers. They cut back on career progression due to non tier 1 MBA but not on the salary. E.g. tier 1 homegrown Accenture employee might take 4-5 years to make manager while non tier 1 lateral might take role cut and get manager after 6-7 YOE
Is this the band for 1st year Manager ?
35-40 lacs
Deloitte usi band is 36 fixed and 10% variable which is 40lpa minimum.
Accenture pays scons 35 fixed. Manager should easily be 45-50
For Tier-1 MBAs- typically IIMs and the likes of FMS, ISB- fixed pay ranges from 40-50 lpa depending on pedigree and experience.
For other MBAs- NITIE, IMT et al, the range is 35-45 lpa.
Of course the numbers are dependent on campus/lateral hiring, prior relevant experience, how well one negotiates and how badly the team wants to hire a person.
