I was being interviewed for engineering manager position Maersk . Had 2 technical and 1 HR round, got an email that I have cleared all the rounds, asked me to submit all the docs and HR said she would like to see me at the office. After 2 weeks I’m asked to appear for some business connect round. The lady did not seem interested asked some random questions and next day I get an email saying that I could not clear the round and hence rejected. In India even big brands lack ethics.

Leave Deloitte and join Capgemini? Hilarious!
@DD1 Chill out. You obviously read his post wrong.
Are you still in college? If so, what are you doing here?!
The only reason you would make that switch is if your firing at Deloitte was imminent, no one from Deloitte leaves for Capgemini/Wipro/TCS voluntarily. Salary is a moot point for you.
@DD1 what are you talking about? I'm an analyst at Deloitte Consulting. Anyways I didn't come here to share my reasons on why I want to switch-it is personal. In my post I am addressing Capgemini employees about salary- so I'm not quite sure why you are giving unsolicited advice :) not trying to be rude
@BCG1 - yea, you're right, just f'ing around after a few glasses of wine. Thursday!!!
I think you may wanna stay at D to be officially considered an exp. associate before you try. They're leadership is full of ex- ACN, and big 4 and everyone here knows (at least thinks they know) you really don't know you're doing for the first year. That said, I'm just speculating. Never encountered something like this. Best time leave in my opinion is a year after promotion.
Yes you read right! @DD1
Don't f***ing waste everyone's time, decide if you are a Deloitte or a PWC analyst. Regardless of how much they pay, you belong at Capgemini!
Capgemini won't be able to match. I have a good friend in their healthcare sector that went to a top grad school right out of undergrad. Dude is killing it and still only making 80 with his masters.
No I'm an analyst @PWC1
Well your profile shows up as "Deloitte" here so either you are lying or have a burner account
DD1 I think he was referring to me with "@PWC1." Kinda confused me too for a sec lol. OP - if you're an analyst at the D I think they'll pay you more than a college hire. I would at least have them match my salary with a bonus if not surpass it. Point being - you should have more bargaining power than a fresh college grad
@PWC1 thanks! Since I've been here a little less than a year I just wanted to get a ballpark number to know what I would be working with. I would def try and negotiate tho if I get the position!
Ok well first of all, what are you making now? 72.5?
@D1 that is Correct
Long term I can't imagine it would be any better. Maybe easier hours
Thanks for the info D1. Any Capgemini people have any insight on this??
