I wouldn’t be an idiot to leave a job that takes a toll my mental sanity. It is a hard decision but, we only have one life and one health to take care of. You’re still very young, you’ll be fine
Tbh I think I’m ready to give up the “prestige” of being a consultant. I just want a job that allows me to pursue outside interests ... even at a pay cut. Crazy how quickly my opinion and interests change ... a year ago i was all about trying my best to be a top performer and move up the ladder lol.. just not worth it man

Think about what you just said: a year ago you thought the opposite, who says 24 year old you won't have another complete shift in direction? Compounded with the pandemic, maybe making complete life decisions on a new whim isn't the wisest move?
I personally would try to have something lined up, do you live on your own?
I was prior to Covid. Moved back home after my lease ended

How did you manage to sock away 75k at 23!??
Haha I stayed in state for undergrad and been working for quite some time.

You live at home (for free) with a ton of savings. Give that notice!
I have not done this, but if it was the only way to avoid a toll on my health I would walk away. Congrats on holding onto savings at 23 btw! Before walking away I would likely work to push back on the factors causing the health toll, and see if I was respected for it.
I get that. I’ve been out of undergrad in management consulting for four years and experience a decent amount of stress as well. Biggest thing that has helped me is to be super transparent with the people I report to... “these situations cause me stress, these situations allow me to work at peak performance”... for the most part I have been very much respected for the transparency and it has allowed me to work with leadership to minimize stress while maximizing my impact. I know not all folks are this accommodating though.
At the end of the day, do whatever it takes to live your best life!
Not sure if this is realistic for you to do, but consider staying and taking more control over your work and mental health by saying no to requests more, closing your computer at 5pm, taking a break at lunch, etc if you’re not already. You could take more time to grow skills that you’re actually interested in and might help at a new job. If you’re considering quitting anyway, then you don’t have much to lose by doing less work - what are they going to do, fire you? Just an option to consider. But DEFINITELY start looking for a new job now.
