Base of $80 would be nice. I’ve made so many other people money this year I’d rather quit and not work than keep doing this. Business partner will make $500K this year on net new money, that I closed for them. Plus, anything developed they will get paid. I’ll be happy to possibly get a bonus at the end of the year? Maybe?

Advice on pivoting into Sales from Accounting? I know I have the skills and it’s a better fit, personality-wise. I am not a super technical accountant, but my background is still a super strong skill set I bring to the table with me (the ability to process and translate the technical to layman’s terms, and the anticipation of client needs and wants). I accepted my Amazon offer on 5/23 via email as told by the recruiter who also took down my social via telephone and send me a old school pdf to fill out for a my background screening. At the time we decided on 6/13 as the start date. On 6/3 I received an email from Amazon’s version of docusign to sign my offer, and yesterday 6/8 I was notified by the recruiter that my start date would be delayed to 6/20 due to background not being completed.
