I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

I worked at Travelers for over 15 years. There’s some really great things about being there. But if you’re looking for compensation, it sucks. They are on the lower end of all major carriers. Raises and bonuses are an absolute freaking joke. You will also be treated like a metric instead of a person. you will be rated and ranked against your fellow employees for bonuses and raises. They act like a $500 bonus is winning the lottery.
oh noooo
From what I heard, Travelers is a very good company to work for if you're looking for a decent paycheck, and of course, offers various benefits, such as competitive pay, bonuses, and raises. The bad news? It's not a fast-paced and exciting work environment to work. Some also complain about how the work can be demanding and stressful.
I currently work at Travelers in Auto and have been here over 8 years. I have a gotten a bonus and a raise each year. The salary is competitive depending on your experience. There are a few companies in my region that pay more but the majority are lower than Travelers. The property side seems to have a lot of turnover and I have heard that the volume is overwhelming for the outside reps.
I think adjuster positions in general are taxing and demanding pretty much everywhere...
My experience at Travelers was excellent. Great leader or supervisor. Good carrier. Claims is a busy department and understaffed at many carriers. This is a solid national carrier.
I’ve heard ok things
What is a typical bonus amount for Travelers?
Probably pretty role dependent, but usually 6-10% annual for me and my peers.
