What medical writing role would you choose? A low paying remote role in a major CRO or a 30% higher paying hybrid role in a major pharma company if everything else is largely similar? I would like to know especially from medical writers who have worked in both - CROs and pharma companies. Anything on work satisfaction, growth opportunities, long term financial gains, work-life balance, etc. would help.

How many candidates are being interviewed for a position at once? I know it probably varies but on my team it seems like maybe 3-5 candidates. I’m interviewing for roles right now and wonder what a typical sized pool would look like. I never make it past the final round so trying to get a better understanding of the process
