4% of revenue. But that is paid by the company, not the advisor himself. He gets 30%. So the company keeps 66%. We have a pretty hefty marketing budget.
And I should mention that my base is $75K and the commission target is also around that.
At GS I get paid a bonus by the firm + a percentage of the quarterly revenue from my advisor. I’ll get the exact numbers tomorrow
Associates get salary + bonus + sales commission. Salary is usually $70-90k, bonus usually $5-10k paid by firm and dependent on how well the firm is doing, sales commission $1.5-5k and is 0.25%-1% of new sales depending on tenure of advisor (newer advisors have smaller %). All in all pay is weak.
Also this is in NYC.
I receive 6% of my advisors net commissions. 14 yoe on an experienced team.
So my assistant has a salary plus bonus structure
