Probably depends on the company. I think business roles have different leveling requirements than engineering. The exception is probably product management - I would assume you enter at L4

Depends on company - a better metric might be pay - between 180k to 350k based on role

Typically L5 in big tech except amazon (which is L6)

Anyone with psychologist partners or friends? Trying to help my wife figure out next steps in her career. Currently is a clinical psychologist seeing about 20 ppl/week for 120-130 dollars a person (she currently takes insurance). IMO this limits her overall earning potential. Trying to figure out if she could: drop insurance and charge more, scale out and build her own practice, and/or work more (could maybe see 26-28 ppl/week). Curious if anyone can share thoughts or brain power!
