I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). I was devastated by it. This past month I have been making more payments and paid off my aug statement in full thinking it will boost my credit score. I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

Looking for feedback. What are your thoughts on when asked to provide a case study or project plan as a part of the interview process? I know BCD Travel and other start-ups make these kinds of request.
