Time for a conversation with your boss and to start looking for a job
THIS is why people are leaving the healthcare field. It is the most underpaid profession ever, yet we are risking OUR lives on the daily taking care of people. & we get paid pennies. I love helping people, serving and love making a difference in the lives of others, BUT we have bills to pay. The fact that we’re in the Medical Field in general, should automatically be higher pay and better raises. If other industries can do better then so can the healthcare industry. It’s not like they can’t afford it. 🙄
Best to rotate hospitals every 2-3 years to keep your salary increasing
OUCH that is not a good raise at all but hey atleat you got one. I haven't had a raise for three years and I had to go to them to ask for one. I keep getting the run arund from my manager. I have started to look for something else because I am beyond frustrating.
