Deloitte is the bigger name and pays a bit better but Grant Thronton has way nicer people and known to have a way better cultre and work environment. What should I do? Have an offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role but it seems like this one requires 2-3 days in the office - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

I’m glad!
What is risky about it? If a company has multiple positions open that fit what you are looking for, why wouldn’t you apply for all of them?
Well that’s just silly. Most people have skills that transfer to multiple positions. I would see being single-track-minded as a potential negative, because that would hint they may be inflexible.
Depending on the size and internal communications, it might not even register that you're applying to multiple positions.
I imagine the HR backend would indicate when an applicant has multiple applications in, though.

Nice so it might be one you can get away with at a bigger place then?
Go for it. I think it's a good idea because it shows that you're versatile. If it's the same recruiter that will familiarity with your name as well. And if it's a large company they won't even know that you've applied for other jobs necessarily if there are different recruiters involved.

Yeah I guess it shows an enthusiastic interest in the company!
