Oh gosh my first job ever was working as a waitress at a Chines Buffet. I made $2.35 an hour and I probably took home $15-$20 in tips a day and that was after an 8 hour shift. I definitely was not even making minimum wage and people did not tip well at all. There were many times I wouldn't get a tip from a family of 6. I hated that job but I needed the money and I was only 15 haha. My favorite job ever was actually working as a mental health tech back in Kansas. If I hadn't moved I would probably still work there atleast PRN.
My first job was picking beans on a farm for 7 cents a bushel. Hot, dirty work and long, long days. My favorite, most rewarding job is what I do now. Mental Health Counselor. I’ve had many jobs in my years and a couple careers but none has filled my soul or given me the chance to give back as this career does.
