UH.
But really consider why you want to go - big investment, costly.
Good for what? If you want to be an actual lawyer, going part time likely won’t go well for you. If you don’t actually want to be a lawyer? Don’t go at all. It’s not worth it.
My GC (Fortune 100 company) is a UH grad. He was a big law partner (Vault 100) prior to his current job. UH is a decent school across America, yes. But it’s a GOOD school in Houston. Location is also an important aspect of law school.
I’ve been wondering the same thing, thanks for posting
Doesn’t really matter. Being in Houston alone will open a lot of doors if you network and get the right internships. Just make sure to pass the bar when you get to that point. I would honestly go with UH although it’s not too easy to get into as many think.
South Texas College is a good second and the first option if you want to practice litigation.
South Texas is a bottom of the barrel program and has an awful bar passage rate. Y’all are throwing around “good” like candy.
If you plan to stay in Houston a school like UH is fine. It may or may not be a good school (see above) but it works if you stay in Houston.
If you plan to get your degree and move elsewhere to practice, I’d aim higher for a more nationally recognized program.
Idk if they have part time but your best bet is likely UH
UH has a part time program
