P1, I think you're shooting too low. That's what I was making as SA2, JD.
Shoot for 170ish base. Assuming you're in NYC. If not slightly lower (or ask for 170 at least)
Which I personally think is low for a director.
The exception to what S1 said is that It still varies if you have an MBA from specific schools. M1A is 162 in NYC with MBA.
140
210
No. I got that as a SC out of MBA 2 years ago.
What? For base.. come on D
@pwc1. I got 140.
210 seems to high for base alone, no?
Definitely high and you won't get that at pwc until you make director. (And first year directors start at 184k).
140 is pretty much a Top MBA SA1 at PwC (varies my city)
Also, with the cohort model, the salary for M2a is set, if you come in at that level, there's one salary and one salary only for Management, Risk, and Tech consulting (very few exceptions)
~$155k. M1(MBA, non-S&) starts around $147K and D1 starts around $167k.
I am a M2 at D with 180 base. If I jump ship it's only for a bump, so if you want a strong number do 210.
P4 - what city?
P3 the core / target MBA cohort pay scale only applies for Senior and Managers, it converges at Director
