What’s better - Credit risk (institutional) at Citi or credit risk (reserves and discount window) at the Federal Reserve in terms of longer term prospects? Current intern at the fed and got an interview through immediate manager. Got an interview at citi through networking. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you

I've seen top credit risk analysts at JPM move into roles like levfin IB or other credit roles around the industry, so maybe the same for the op at Citi. With the Fed, I really don't know what you'd get

like

When I was in JP risk people moved to banking and trading even without either of those credentials. I think though it is different for each firm based on how they see risk. I think you need to connect with people in risk at those two firms to see whether it is an operational function or not. I knew some people at Citi risk and heard it’s operational but that was for market risk; not sure about credit risk.

If I get the job pay will start around 120k at a large company with room for growth. If I stay in PA school I will have around 120k in debt and will probably work in vascular surgery. What would you do? It’s literally the second week of school for me, I have my 3rd interview for the job next week

Hey, another question for y’all. How should I reach out to a recruiter who offered me a full time position but I rejected for a better offer? At the time I was offered the position my main concern was lack of guidance/support from leadership. Now, a year later I have experience being in a role with limited over site (not as scary as I initially thought it would be) and feel confident I would excel in the role I rejected. How would you approach this situation? Thanks in advance!!

Will be extremely grateful for an additional review with the changes. I am looking for business intelligence and business analyst roles.

I am also looking for a referral in Deloitte +kpmg for a systems/bi analyst role, will be super grateful for some help there too.

Dilemma… I left my old company 4 months ago. Today, they’ve reached out to me to ask me to come back at a higher role, Operations Manager. I would’ve jumped on this opportunity if they asked me before. However, this role would be hybrid (2x in office) and come along with more responsibilities and hours than my current WFH role which is very chill. The pay is only 15% more than I currently make. Any thoughts?
