I have two offers, one from Am Law 100 firm and one from Am Law 200 firm. Am Law 200 firm is offering 40K more (otherwise the firms have same hours target and, based on discussions, similar culture). I’m trying to decide between the two based on long term career prospects, both offer opportunity for NEP (not sure how realistic it is at either). Also not sure of overall earning potential down the road. Is the 40K now worth it or am I likely to make that up at the Am Law 100 firm in the future?

Hi sharks, I am currently working in automation testing role with skill set robot framework + python. I learnt selenium + java out of interest. Over all experience is 5 years. I am not getting interest in testing now. Wanted to switch career as data professional, data engineer to be precise (after doing some basic study). My present knowledge is conversant level, I started a online course. Is it possible for me to switch career now ? My doubt is without real experience can I manage with course ?

Joined pro a few months back in TC, I notice that the all the talks of big growth etc. was just talks. Have not had any decent project lined up and been sitting idle for past month. Also, majority of existing projects are Risk, audit and compliance related or we are trying staff aug / managed service (outsource). What is up with this, contemplating if I made the wrong decision to join pro from Big 4.

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

I had a 3rd round interview with a VP yesterday, sent a follow up email after and included a general question and no response. Is this a bad sign?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. I'm non US citizen and thinking of moving back to EU. My plan is getting remote opportunities across the world and work as a freelancer. My speciality is Data analytics and BI (Qlikview, Tableau). 1) How likely I can get a gig from the US? 2) if a job looking for a remote 2-3 months contract do they care what country I'm in? 3) how can I compete Indian rates as I'm in Europe 60-70$ per hour as a BI consultant is a good rate but I see online rates as low 10$😫?
