What’s it like working as a PM in a media agency compared to working in a traditional creative shop?

Has anyone had to leave B4 due to independence issues of a spouse or spousal equivalent? If so, how did you feel about it?

There should be more exotic vetenarian locations than what is offered. I owned a pair of lovebirds and finding affordable petcare within proximity of our home was fairly difficult.

How do you address pay discrepancies? I just found out a VT hired a year after me, with less experience, is making $2 more an hour. She was hired when they were desperate for staff which I’m guessing is why, but I’ve felt bitter ever since finding out.

Would a possible US gov’t shutdown have an impact on crypto? My thinking at a high level is that the event may cause uncertainty in USD, possibly driving folks to crypto. Not making a bet though..

My query is I am eligible for 75k LTA and now I entering that amount on portal it not allowed me to enter .. continue showing error pop up say basic of HRA 5%

I am not understand that message. I entered my housing rent on portal..

Is the HRA and house rent factor in salary are the same.

And LTA is depend on HRA amount.

Can you help me .. it will be helpful..

I'm a Canadian on the TN visa working in the US and planning on maxing my Roth IRA (6k) and will have enough left to max my 401k this year, but am not sure if I should just use a taxable account over 401k due to tax considerations when I move back to Canada (likely 1-2 years from now). Any thoughts here? I don't think I'll have enough RRSP room to move 401k>IRA>RRSP and I would prefer to not have to file US taxes every year in retirement for withdrawls if I left the 401k in the US.

I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. There is talk of bringing everyone back to the office full time and that’s not what I would like to happen. I’ve been searching for a new position in which it would be a remote role. Salary recommendations for a Senior PM role at one of the top global creative agencies? I have 10+ years of experience in-house and agency-side. I’m going to assume long hours (at least some of the time) and probably a difficult client.

I am an AE moving to a PM role at my agency.

Since I will have the PM title, what is the roadmap for moving to FAANG (or similar) or SaaS digital end to end dev/implementation companies as a Technical PM/Senior PM/Program Manager?

I have 5 YOE in Account Management, 2+ of which are in heavy digital working with Dev, Digital PMs, and client tech/implementation teams.

I also have had some direct experience in PM and will be building those specific skills in my new role.

I just had my 3 month performance evaluation. It went really well and I received a raise, but I’m worried if I should of negotiated it. It went from $41K to $45K. Is this reasonable? I’m considering I’ve been in the field for only 3 months.
