An mba in cybersecurity is going to be pretty much useless. Long term success in cyber will depend on how you can tie all the different technical areas together and dumb down jargon to the C-suite. This is why it’s important to have a technical role early in your career.
This is really dependent to the individual.
The CISSP is way overrated it’s only value is the suckers that got into it early want you to have it. And if you see someone with CISSP next to their name in an email signature or on linked in, hold on because whatever conversation you are about to have is going to be a wild ride.
Well the CISSP is the cheaper option, MBA will help you more later on in your career. Also it really depends on what field you are in and what the company you work for values more.
