What's something that tends to get overlooked during planning? For me, it's the effort required to maintain what we build.

2nd iteration costs. 1st iteration is usually barely more than a functional proof of concept. You learn a lot of things in that process that could DRAMATICALLY improve the maintainability, cost, and functional outcomes of a system... so that 2nd iteration is the real productionisation.

Yet businesses never factor in the cost of building it the second time. The first time it's delivered they're like "sweet let's launch it and announce it to everyone" and then they're shocked when the whole thing creaks.

So true

Permit delays/lead times, always add in contingency for any exterior review process

Good one

Hi fishes,

Today I got an email from TCS to complete an ibegin registration. Whenever I login, it is asking me to enter PAN details and mail ID. If I give, it is giving a warning that my account is already present in ibegin and telling me to login with another email ID. As if I remember, one of the consultancy, used my PAN to register in ibegin but I’m unable to login since it is registered by their mail ID and my PAN.
