My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.

Now I am deducting about $500 from their deposit of $2150, and he is threatening me that “his attorney will be moving forward and pursue every legal right he has as a tenant enforcing the RLTO”.. am I at wrong here? If you had 2 mortgages at the exact same interest rate (1 is a 15 year and the other is a 30 year), does it make sense to put extra payments (say 400 per month) towards one or the other? Looking at it purely from a $ perspective in the long term (not psychological where You prepay the lower balance quicker to ultimately have only one loan).

15 year loan - 125k balance (renting this property out)

While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out.
