My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? I am very anxious it's too late so I cant even call recruiter.

Please suggest.

I have one pro bono case that I kept when I left my firm to go in house. It’s a matter completely unrelated to my company and I have malpractice insurance through the nonprofit organization associated with the case. I’ve made clear to my client that I’m repping this client in my personal capacity. Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

Stay in corporate credit risk at a BB as an associate or transition to corporate banking as an associate at a regional bank. Cannot decide! Please help?

I can’t change that. What’s the point of living when society treats ppl like me like I don’t matter. Maybe I should just take a bunch of sleeping pills so I don’t have to deal with life anymore.
