What’s the deal with Accenture Technology Strategy merging with Advisory? Would this mean a salary decrease for existing Strategy consultants?

I have offer from tcs in pipeline for SSE role.Recently got promoted in Infosys.Should I tell tcs HR now or wait for offer letter.

In my offer letter, nothing is mentioned about variable pay, but the recruiter had mentioned to me about 0-12% variable. Am I missing anything. Do they have any variable component in the salary or not.

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments.
