McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

If I’m honest the match is poor. That & a cellphone policy of <$80/m are my only gripes. Everything else is top drawer here.
@K5 - and the health insurance plans seem a bit pricier than at the last two firms + industry I worked at. But the per diem/ actual expense option is pretty amazing
K5, it's actually $45/mo or $60 if part of your monthly payment is toward phone purchase repayment. That part is super cheap. But agreed in general it all feels pretty generous.

The pension is better than I expected especially with the first year credit. Also vests in "only" 3 years.
