What's the largest merger you've worked on? The biggest deal I have been a part of was around $3 million but I always thought it would be exciting to be a part of those multi-billion dollar deals.

$60 Billion pharma acquisition. It was gold! That was back in the day and the money was flying off the shelves and into our pockets. I’m retired now, life is good!

29b merger. They are all the same. The smaller ones are more fun though.

That's impressive! Although I haven't had the opportunity to work on a multibillion-dollar merger, it sounds like an amazing opportunity. Hopefully, I get a chance to participate in something like this some day.

Largest acquisition worked on: just under $5B

10B acquisition

€15bn deal, my third so far

What’s your role and responsibilities in your org when doing these deals?

I worked on the Due Dilligence of a Softbank investment in a (then) unicorn.
And also on the merger of two industrial conglomerates worth +1b each

Did a 9-month stint in the PEG, and did some random PMI (post merger integration) work

I’ve worked on a deal that was $650M. But our bid was turned down. Largest that went through signing and integration? $25M

2.6b

19B midstream

500m

My biggest deal was just over five million dollars. However, that is not typical for me. I usually work on deals that hover between the one point five million dollar and three million dollar mark. Those multi billion dollar deals look fun but I am not sure I could handle the stress that came along with them.

You'll get there!

5b largest, now on 3b one

I've had 2 engagements in the $2B~$2.5B range, one integration and one carve-out.

What’s the main difference with working on larger vs smaller deals? As an intern, I worked on a multi billion $ deal but I thought it was the norm for large firms

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Thanks in advance!
