Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

To qualify for enhanced maternity pay you have to have worked at the company 26 weeks prior to the 15th week before expected childbirth. Meaning when you are roughly 25 weeks pregnant you need to have been employed for 26 weeks (can change but it’s calculate from the date on your mat b1). Yes it is 36 weeks full pay and the rest stat or unpaid for up to 52 weeks of protected leave. You usually get tax back in the months you are not being paid full wage, you are eligible for bonuses whilst on maternity leave. If you want to stay off but not be unpaid you can take your accrued holiday to come back but on leave or use the leave to work part time for a short window on full time wage. Lots of options but AoF resources are really helpful they run periodic expectant parent workshops very useful. Finally assuming you are or your partner is pregnant CONGRATS it’s a great ride!
so essentially you can start then get pregnant the week after, you qualify?
