Been doing the a minute and my opinion is based on having worked with really good and really bad peeps in the position.
My answer is AS all day.
Because when you're doing you're job well no one notices you're there. People online notice when your job isn't being done.
No scope/bad scope
No brief/bad brief
Not pushing back on client
Forgetting that you work for agency and are on our team
Too many meetings/ not enough meetings
No meeting recaps / bad meeting recaps
@amd2 I totally agree with Adopps as unsung. All the blame and none of the credit. My guys sit out of a different office and on my first visit I brought them fancy rum.
All they do is get campaigns live and make sure they're tracked. No big deal.
PM. We weren’t even on your list. 😂
@PM1 - you’re like field goal kickers. do your job right and nobody notices. but screw up and you’re the most hated person on the planet.
i change my vote to PM.
Account Service. Bad guys to client. Bad guys to creative.
@SVP1 - when strategy gives me something that actually helps on a campaign, i’ll credit the fuck out of them.
Account Service @RGA, totally agree
Data peeps are forgotten until some one wants them to run data for them at 4.45pm as if it should be a click of a button.

Admins to C-suite are subjected to insanity you can't imagine for 1/3-1/4 of our salaries. I know cause I sit next to one that supports the CEO and the ECD. Thankless is an understatement. The crap they have to do and deal with...
@PM1 😂😂 fair.
1) office managers/admins
2) ad ops/media ops
3) finance
4) IT
5) PMs
the people you don’t notice until they screw up [or go on vacation].
Why is the GO department separate? 😒
Came here to add PM hahahah
I’m in analytics and it depends on the culture of the agency. my last agency - we were an afterthought. my. current agency - very much the opposite.
I’d say account. As R/GA1 said, they’re hated by both sides.
The janitorial staff.
If the question is thankless then strategy. Blamed for everything - rarely credited with success
Analytics and you leaving them off is just an example.
HR
PM!! (Not on the list—exactly 😑)
Other than cleaning staff/greeters etc. Production. Producers get shit on by all capabilities, thrown under the bus for everything that goes wrong, occasionally thanked for what they do and yet for some reason everyone who isn’t a creative sorta wants to do/have a job in production
