What’s keeping you up at night?

❌ Sorry, no… “What keeps you up at night?” is 1) cliché 2) lazy and 3) could backfire… it’s your job to find that out without having to ask. 😉
Let’s play this out…
There’s a high likelihood they’d say something like budget, internal politics, staffing, etc. in which case there’s no response you could have that is remotely helpful to them. Or if what keeps them up at night has anything to do with the agency, then you’re surely starting the relationship at a deficit.
And heaven forbid they take it literally or suffer from insomnia… 😂
