RUN. Leadership has plummeted. Layoffs have skyrocketed. Lauren Naima wants to fire everyone. Sent most creatives to Tedavi. Created the AI agency to eventually replace all creatives. It won’t be an agency for long.
Naima is the definition of a TERRIBLE leader. She loves firing people, yet she's the one who needs to be fired. A cancer on the creative dept.
Definitely depends on the affiliate but I’m happy in my spot and we just won a new big piece of business. Every agency these days has good and bad things about them.
Eversana’s HR seems to enjoy gatekeeping for its own sake, slowing things down unnecessarily. Meanwhile, the Kansas City creative team hasn’t exactly set the world on fire, which makes you wonder how some ideas ever get out the door.
It’s dysfunctional. it depends what department you are in, but it is 100% led by the account department, and while the creative leader has a lot of PR behind her, it’s a count and Strat that run the show. If you’re going into those departments, you could do well if you don’t care about the creative work being good. You can find other stories to tell.
Really really depends on the specific affiliate and team, and a saving grace is that moving around internally isn’t too hard if you hate where you are
What is an affiliate?
At AE level you may be okay. The culture is rough and it’s all about the numbers at the leadership level. Negotiate your incoming salary well — merit raises, bonuses and promotions are nearly non existent.
Go work there for a year to get the “digital AOR” stamp on your resume. Be prepared to work hard and be under constant pressure of getting laid off because of the PE. Then go somewhere else better.

Read through the bowl, there’s at least a half dozen posts about this company with everyone basically saying the same thing. Morale has been terrible for years due to constant layoffs, etc.
