Avocado toast. It’s just bread and smashed fruit. Stop pretending it’s revolutionary.
Mason jar drink trend. Boo. It tastes the same as if it was in a regular glass.
The recent pickle trend has been a bit much. I love pickles, but I don’t want a pickle lemonade.
I worked in a place where they insisted on using that for EVERYTHING. Never liked it before and now I literally will get sick if I smell it. Not only is it overused, a little goes a long way. However, like you said, the Chef's would put sooooo our dishes. Just too much! Pretty sure food should have balanced flavors and not an extreme use of one ingredient, IMO!
