What's working out better for you when you make calls to prospects? Having a catchy opener or just keeping it straightforward and saying it's a sales call, and asking them if they want to continue or hang up? My managers are constantly asking us to be 'concise and natural', but what that leads to is almost always a rejection. I don't know if being pushy is the way to go or not. Thoughts?

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base. Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering. Titles are different which is why the pay is much different. I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule.
