I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. But I was alao told kaiser offers a dollar each year as a raise. I want a place I can grown and stsy Long term. Any one have any insight on kaiser and what they offered.UCLA Health Kaiser Permanente

I left...is what i did.
I had gotten so ill from the stress, my doctor gave me a sick note for 3 months and was willing to work with me to file for disability. The org then triggered one of the fine print clauses in my contract and refused to extend my contract. And instead of fighting (it's too mammoth of an organization), I just walked away. Crazy but I had to.
I had gotten so sick and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me until one of them suggested it might be stress and anxiety related.
Not saying that's what you should do. But remember you have to be alive in order to work a job.
Sending you warm hugs
When I was in a similar spot I kept track of my wins, set boundaries to avoid burnout, and tried to do regular check-ins with my manager (when they would make time for me!). When things were awful, I focused on staying professional and not taking it personally, as much as I could. Having an exit plan, even long-term, kept me going.
I agree, you cannot take the things of an employee personal because at the end of the day you work under the manager not for the manger. So, that pat on the back that you are looking for, reverse it and pat yourself on the back for your promptness, professionalism so handsome forth! We work for God not man!
My advice is go to your doctor ask for stress leave and go off on WCB for 1 or 2 years. Get counseling and start looking for another job! Good luck!
My first thought is you should look into other positions in the same organization. If your manager is difficult, that won't change, so changing your position might be a good option. Other than that, just try to ride it out and handle the situation as best you can. Shrug off what you can and hang on to your job while you look for something else.
Building a long-term exit plan gave me a sense of control. Even if I couldn’t leave immediately, having a timeline in mind made the situation feel less hopeless. Now I'm in a much better job and environment so patience paid off. Wishing you good karma!
You’re not there for a joy ride. You’re there for pay.
I collected unemployment. I just left that position six months ago.
