Head shot recommendations ITP?
I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.

Labs is great WLB and pay but nothing is getting done and I don’t see that changing without a major overhaul of leadership. I would probably disband most of Labs and put that money into better general tech like better laptops and packaged software for the practice and a much much smaller org focused on innovation.
Interesting perspective…I feel my Labs team is generating significant value to clients and engagement teams

Wow is it that bad?
In the economic climate we are in, said with the best of intentions, put energy into doing the best you can on the things you are responsible for doing to try and get things to improve. It’s not 2021.
PwC1 that’s definitely the way to go from a logical point of view.
The work/leadership can just be all so demoralizing.
What part of P&T are you in though, I don’t see it as that bad

Digital. Which is bad imo.
Ironically US Tech seem to have their act together. Only one partner (CIO) and a few MDs and they work more like a s/w company. May be other pillars can learn from them.
Thoughts on P&S specifically?
Products and Solutions (P&S) - not to be confused with Products and Technology (P&T).
Their name alone is very misleading. P&S is the group formally known as the go to market team within P&T.
They say they wanted to ‘get closer to the business’ (aka move into consulting) and they did exit stage left just before end FY.
Comprised largely former consultants turned ‘product people’ and a ton of outside product sales people. The model of how they ‘sell’ is bizarre and counter firm culture. Somehow, they are still hanging around under on the “leadership” of Suneet Dua and Darren Lee.
All these guys ever talk about is how awesome Astro and ProEdge are.
I don’t see P&S lasting much beyond FY23.
