Now the thing is I have a better job offer from one of my dream companies-i would be really stupid not to take that offer. Hey fishies, I’m having a crisis. My total comp at my current job is 190k. However, I’m bored out of my skull and my boss has made it clear there’s no chance of promotion. I committed to Fuqua (with a 120k scholarship) to transition to more interesting work (strategy). Am I being foolish or is more interesting work in the long run worth the pay cut for a few years?

How do you determine you hourly rate for freelancing? I recently got a huge salary boost. Old coworker is asking if I can do 8-10 hours a week for couple months to help his new company get off the ground w some products. If I were to take my salary into consideration, I’d ask for around $100 an hour. I used to think freelance should be more than my salary calculated hourly. Having an Interview this week, and don't know how high I should set my salary expectations. I currently earn 24k/annum base + comission. I have joined lti as a lateral.
After joining they have asked me to collect laptop from office. When i went, the laptop was not in a great condition and was refurbished. I am guessing it was used almost 3 to 4 years before me.

I asked them for a new laptop and they said they dont have new laptop in stock, i even checked with my manager she said she is also using refurbished laptop so no problem.

Anyone else faced this problem earlier?. If yes how did you act on it?
