I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.

Does having planned time off nullify a full time employee’s ability to use the C19 sick leave if they become sick just prior to the planned time off? Any recommendations for good videographers in NYC/Tri-State? A lot of the affordable ones I find make the cheesiest videos. I’ve certainly found some good ones but very expensive. I know you get what you pay for, but there has to be someone reasonably priced out there that delivers quality work. I am splurging on the photographer so this would just be an extra.

35M. Friend zoned after one date. What am I doing wrong? I met her at a baby shower. We talked/text regular for about a month or so because I was traveling for work. Finally went on a date about two weeks ago, a week after I told her I like her and said she never thought about us being romantic. Today I got the official friend zoned text.

Maybe I am being ridiculous, but I feel like I’ll be ready for dating in about 3 months. The only concern is I turn 50 later next year. Am I at a point where women can’t see themselves with a 50 yr old even if they are outgoing, fun and athletic or am I just in my head?
